About Us

Mike began his career in 1995 working for an innovative Warwickshire estate agency, the first in the UK to pioneer the use of modern computing software to help sell properties and track sales. He moved to the North West in 2001, quickly establishing himself in Edgeley and Didsbury where he ran branches for a well-known national estate agency chain. Mike joined Philip James Partnership in 2003 after the business opened a new high-tech office in Didsbury. Today Mike is a director and equity shareholder in the firm's Heaton Moor business, Philip James Wilson, and has played a central role in ensuring that Philip James leads the housing market in the locations in which they operate.

Your primary point of contact within the office and office based – Christine provides exemplary customer service, backed up by excellent knowledge of legislation and procedures involved in property sales and lettings. She also has extensive local knowledge having lived and worked in the area for many years. She has developed skills in line with technology progression within the industry and is an experienced and dedicated sales negotiator. She is an excellent problem solver and is able to guide you through the sometimes difficult process of buying and selling property, whilst prioritising your needs and requirements to ensure a satisfactory conclusion. Christine also plays a major role in the Heaton's Area with her involvement in Girl Guiding and other community projects.

Julie is also office based and her primary role is negotiation of sales and ensuring that those sales go through to completion. Her former career was in sales and negotiation and she has been with company since 2003. Julie lives in Heaton Mersey and her strengths are a high level of personal service and support, skillful negotiation to obtain the best price and her democratic approach to keep our chains moving towards a swift completion.

Nicola's wealth of experience started back in 1999 when she joined a well known Stockport Estate Agent, helping to establish a new office in Hyde. She proved to be an asset to that branch after great success and a proven record for sales, she soon became Office Manager due to her undisputed skills within the branch. She joined Philip James Partnership in 2003 as Office Manager in Reddish and after a short break in 2004 she has returned home, taking on the new role of Client Advisor for Philip James Wilson. She will concentrate solely on our South Reddish clients giving her more opportunity to provide a personal touch, and encouraged to produce sales via a commission only role.

Ann lives in Heaton Mersey and been a viewing representative with us since 2003. Her service enables clients to view property's for both rental and sale during office hours, evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, thus freeing up time for the full time staff to focus on selling and listing new properties.

Peter has been with the company since 2008 and resides in Reddish. Having an additional viewing representative enables the company to arrange a great number of accompanied viewings, which we believe generates a higher number of offers and a better level of service to our vendors, unrivaled locally.

Kiera (3 years service) and Katherine (2 years service) are both coming to the end of their studies and their service combined with full time staff enables us to keep the office open 7 days a week and covers the office for holidays and illness, without which our service to our clients would suffer. Having an office staffed during a weekend is vital since that is when most buyers find time for house hunting.
