Fallowfied is a suburb of South Manchester which lies only 3miles south of the City centre.

The area has a very large student population with large numbers of available student houses for rent due to the main accommodation centre of the University of Manchester lying right at its centre - the Fallowfield Campus, including the Owens Park complex, over 1000 students are based at this campus.

Fallowfield's most famous son is arguably ex-Manchester City star Neil Young who scored the winning goal in the 1969 FA Cup final and 2 goals in the final game of the 1968 season against Newcastle United securing the league title.
