About Denton & Audenshaw
Denton and Audenshaw are two established towns within Greater Manchester. The majority of buyers have strong local links to the area, which many people spending their whole lives living in the area due to it being family orientated, having good schools, local parks and amenities.
Denton is home to a bustling high street, several leisure facilities and shopping centres including Crown Point with big names such as Flannels, River Island, Starbucks.
The last couple of years has seen the influx of some great independent restaurant’s, bars and cafes on the high street. Not forgetting the Tameside Wellness Centre in Denton town centre which offers a gym, pool, soft play area and bowling alley.
For outdoor pursuits head to Haughton Dale Nature reserve which stretches along the River Tame with access onto the Trans Pennine Trail. Just 1.5 miles away is Audenshaw, which is a popular location for families due to the outstanding schools in the area. For sports enthusiasts there are two golf clubs to choose from, as well as a popular rugby club.
Good schools are always important for many people looking to move into the area. Dane Bank is a popular location due to its proximity to Denton West End Primary and Town Lane is popular for St Thomas Moor secondary school.
First time buyers, young professionals and families are drawn to Denton and Audenshaw due to the close proximity to Manchester City Centre and good transport links.
Denton and Audenshaw are great for commuters with easy access to the M60. Manchester City Centre is just a 15 minute drive away, with Manchester Airport and the Trafford Centre also easily accessible by car or train. Audenshaw has the added benefit of a tram services that runs directly into Manchester City Centre.
Properties are selling faster and competition to move into the area is pushing the prices up.
